- Loans and insurance: Results do not represent an approval, quote or binding offer. Actual eligibility, rates, premiums and fees depend on the provider and applicant.
- Health and nutrition: Calculators provide educational estimates. They do not diagnose, treat, prevent or rule out a medical condition.
- Legal and regulatory topics: Outputs do not replace a lawyer, regulator, court, agency or official eligibility decision.
- Engineering, electrical, construction and safety: Users should verify results against current codes, specifications, site conditions and qualified professional advice.
Dates, updates and changing rules
Basic arithmetic, geometry and many unit conversions remain stable. Tax thresholds, contribution limits, benefits, lending practices, insurance assumptions, exchange rates, market prices and health guidance may change.
For time-sensitive content, we aim to identify the applicable country and effective period. We review a page when a material change becomes known, a reliable source publishes new rules, a user submits a supported correction or our internal checks identify a problem.
We do not change a publication or review date merely to make old content appear new. A date should reflect a real publication, review or material update. Rates and prices are not live unless the page clearly says they are. If a calculator asks users to enter a rate or price, the user remains responsible for entering a current and suitable value.
